In the United States, two-thirds of the population is said to be either overweight or obese. Now there’s a new option for those who might need medical help to lose weight but don’t qualify for weight loss surgery. This week Mayo Clinic surgeons were the first in the U.S. to implant a new device recently approved by the FDA.
