Christopher J Owens, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Owens is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. Dr. Owens serves as the medical director at Goshen Orthopedics. He has provided medical team coverage for the NFL Carolina Panthers, MiLB Elkhart County Miracle and Charlotte Knights, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Davidson College. Dr. Owens has been the team physician for Concord High School since 2014 and also serves as an orthopedic consultant for Goshen High School, Fairfield High School and Northridge High School. Dr. Owens believes that quality health care involves determining how all aspects of a person’s life impact his or her health. He approaches each patient with deep personal commitment, building a relationship based on compassion and honesty that helps him provide everyone with the best possible care. Dr. Owens considers all options and then develops a treatment plan that may include both nonsurgical and surgical options to help minimize pain and maximize recovery.
