Ronald K Downs, M.D.

Ronald Downs, MD, FACS, is a plastic surgeon affiliated with Goshen Center for Cancer Care and Goshen Hospital. He specializes in plastic surgery (including breast reconstruction), as well as all other aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Downs has three decades of experience in surgical and non-surgical solutions. His procedures range from the most complex to simple corrective treatment to repair and restore the patient's physical appearance and ability to function normally. Dr. Downs is the founder of The Centre, P.C., located in Mishawaka, Ind., and is part of the organization’s surgical team. He also is an adjunct professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine in South Bend. Outside his medical practice, Dr. Downs is an active member of his community and church. He enjoys lifting weights and playing golf. He is a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, despite the fact that he played football for the U.S. Naval Academy, Notre Dame’s fierce rival. Dr. Downs believes a strong patient-physician relationship is at the heart of good health care.
