Winston Gerig, MD, FACS, is a board certified surgeon who works with the Gerig Surgical Associates, P.C. He strives to make his patients feel less apprehensive and more comfortable with surgery. Dr. Gerig received advanced training in general, laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, which allows him to perform a wide range of surgical procedures. Dr. Gerig specializes in weight-loss surgery and has performed numerous laparoscopic gastric bypass and adjustable lap band procedures with training to perform the sleeve gastrectomy. With more than 20 years of experience, this compassionate physician believes treatment doesn’t end after surgery and that patients deserve encouragement and emotional support throughout any medical condition.
