Shortly after Dr. Joslyn earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Duke University in North Carolina, he was accepted into medical school. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, then went through an internship and OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida Shands Teaching Hospital. Dr. Joslyn extended his training and completed an internal medicine fellowship through the University of Virginia. He’s board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. To ensure he’s always up-to-date with ever-changing medical research and technology, Dr. Joslyn maintains several professional memberships, including through the Florida Medical Association and Lee County Medical Society. Dr. Joslyn even previously served as the president of the Cape Coral Hospital medical staff. Dr. Joslyn has also earned the Castle Connelly Top Doctor award from 2014-2018. If a patient needs surgical intervention for pelvic prolapse, ovarian cysts, excessive menstrual periods, or other chronic condition, Dr. Joslyn can help. He has advanced training in minimally invasive outpatient procedures.
