Mario-Luis Islas, M.D.

Dr. Islas is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 25 years of experience. He grew up in Southern Arizona and studied Nutritional Science and subsequently earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona. He completed his residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. His experience includes three deployments with the United States Navy, medical director of community health center clinics, Chief of Medical Staff at Arizona State University Health Services as well as caring for underserved communities. He joined the Valle del Sol team in 2024 and is excited to help impact the community’s health.
